MPC8349E-mITX
MPC8349E-mITX is a high-performance development platform for
Freescale MPC8349E PowerQUICC II Pro communication processor. It provides a
hardware board, software source code, designing document and development tool
for the developers. And it’s easy and direct to software test and development
for the designer on the board and it gives a reference design for the developer’s
own hardware. It saves the time for early designing of the hardware and debugging
and quick the products to market.
The MPC8349E PowerQUICC II Pro family of integrated communications
processors is a next-generation extension of the popular PowerQUICC II line.
Based on a system-on-chip (SoC) architecture, the MPC8349E PowerQUICC II Pro
Family integrates the enhanced e300 core and advanced features, such as DDR
memory, Dual Gigabit Ethernet, Dual PCI and Hi-Speed USB controllers. With
clock speeds scaling to 667 MHz, the MPC8349E family of processors offers the
highest performing PowerQUICC II devices available.
The
MPC8349E PowerQUICC II Pro Family is designed to provide a cost-effective,
highly integrated control processing solution that addresses the emerging needs
of networking, communications and pervasive computing applications. MPC8349E
processors can be used in applications such as Ethernet routers and switches,
wireless LAN (WLAN) equipment, network storage, home network appliances,
industrial control equipment, and copiers, printers and other imaging systems.
MPC8349E-mITX-GP
MPC8349E-mITX-GP is a cost-down development platform for
Freescale MPC8349E PowerQUICC II Pro communication processor for Industry
applicatioin. Compared with MPC8349E-mITX, it provides the designer a simpler
hardware board, software design document and developing tool and saves the
investment by reducing some unnecessary interfaces for developer. And it’s easy
and direct to software test and development for the designer on the board and
it gives a reference design for the developer’s own hardware. It saves the time
for early designing of the hardware and debugging and quick the products to
market.
32-bit
MPC8349E-mITX-GP has hardware encrypting, Ethernet Media MAC, USB Master/device
and OTG supporting. This platform includes a GbEthernet interface, a high-speed
USB interface, serial channel and PCI slot. All of those are integrated in a
low cost mini-ITX board.
